Vanguard Appraisals Inc., a Cedar Rapids,Iowa based mass appraisal company, is seeking career minded individuals to join our mass appraisal team. Applicants will begin work as data collectors, known as Mass Appraisal Trainees. Duties include inspecting residential properties, measuring and sketching all structures for the purpose of gathering all information necessary to complete fair and equitable valuations. Trustworthiness, the ability to work unsupervised, good people skills and a strong math aptitude are all requirements for this position. This position offers excellent opportunities for promotions and pay increases.

Requirements:

Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Insured auto and valid driver’s license required.
Weekday travel may be required as we have projects throughout Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota.

Starting pay is $23.00 – $27.00 per hour dependent on education, ability and experience.
